What we collect

Account details: the email address you sign up with, and your name if you provide one.

Your content: the recipes you save, meal plans, grocery and pantry items, collections, freezer and family entries, and any photos you upload.

Purchase status: whether your account owns Lifetime Access or the Pro Kitchen Pack. We do not receive or store your card details.

Basic usage events inside the app, such as a feature being used, so we can tell what is broken or unused.

Recipe photos and where they live

Photos you upload are stored privately. They are not on a public link, and they are opened through a short-lived signed link when you or your account views the recipe. Public recipe pages you import keep the publisher's own image link, which belongs to that publisher.

How we use it

To run the app: showing your recipes, planning meals, building lists and remembering what you own.

To improve it: understanding which features are used and which fail.

To answer you: when you send a message through the contact form, we use the reply address you give to respond.

Artificial intelligence

Saving a recipe, simplifying one, estimating nutrition and asking the in-app assistant all send the relevant text to an AI model so it can return an answer. When you ask the in-app assistant a question, only the recipe you have open is shared for that answer. Your recipe library is not used to train models.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Wix Payments. Card details are entered on their secured checkout page and are never sent to, or stored by, RecipeGrabber AI. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and what it was for.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, to remember interface preferences, and to protect a recipe draft if you refresh the page mid-import. We do not use advertising cookies to track you around other websites.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the app, such as hosting, AI processing and payment processing, and where the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your recipes stay while your account exists. You can delete individual recipes at any time, and you can delete your whole account from Settings inside the app, which removes your account and its content.

Children

RecipeGrabber AI is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the updated version appears on this page with a new date.
